TSD Power Skating
The ever popular TSD Power Skating Program featuring the elite coaching instruction of Bill Flanagan and Joe Flanagan teaches their proven development process to youth, high school, Junior and college hockey players. Bill and Joe Flanagan have taught the process of a dynamic skater to all levels of hockey including players from the instructional level through the Division I college level. Skating is the most important skill to master for the future development of all hockey players. Those who attend the TSD Power Skating Program are sure to master the correct skills needed to move on to the next level of hockey. This program includes on-ice development which includes speed, agility and explosiveness training.
TSD Stick Skills
Former Professional hockey player and UNH Division I captain and scholarship player, Joe Flanagan is known across the country for his scoring and play making abilities. Joe, along with the TSD directors will pass along the skills behindhis success in the TSD Stick Handling Program. This program includes on-ice development which will focus on puck control, quick hands, explosiveness and the ability to finish the play.
TSD Defense
Total Skill Development instructor and former Hobey Baker finalist and former professional hockey player Joe Flanagan and Bill Flanagan, former Division I RPI Scholarship player will lead the TSD Defense Camps. Defense is the mostneglected position in hockey today because coaches tend to focus on the forwards. What beter way to learn defense than from a former professional and college players like Joe and Bill. This program is designed for the needs of all defensemen at all levels. This program will teach positioning as well as key techniques and strategies to make each player understand his/her role as a defensemen. The program includes on-ice tranining and development with a focus on speed, agility and explosiveness training.
TSD Agressiveness
The TSD Aggressiveness Program will be a combination of checking and aggressiveness. This program is specifically designed to teach players how to give and receive checks correctly. This is a full body control and builds confidence so that the players are not afraid to check or take a check. Players who are moving from the squirt level to the PeeWee level will greatly benefit from this camp, as well as those players that need to learn the fundamentals of checking to help them become more aggressive in the games. The program focuses on on-ice development. Included in this program are competitive drills. These drills are designed to bring about improvement through challenging the players in a series of competitive situations. The drills consist of mini small zone games each with their own practical teaching methods. This type of drill will force the player to compete hard and make quick decisions during a game situation.
